Canadian-built as KB976, put into RCAF postwar Search and Rescue service with Air Transport Command. Retired to an Alberta museum in 1964. Bought by Northwestern Air Lease in 1969 and converted for fire-fighting as CF-TQC, with a short retardant- bombing spell in 1971. Purchased by Sir William Roberts in 1974 for his Strathallan Collection. Ferried trans-Atlantic from St Albert, Alberta to Glasgow in May 1975, then to Strathallan on its last-ever flight, in June 1975.
