G-AHFI was Skyways' first Avro York, christened Skyway on 13 April 1946 and departing Langley airfield near London for Basra on the company's first commercial flight the next day. 30 red leather armchair seats were installed. From 31 May 1946, Skyways undertook tourist flights to Switzerland as seen here. From 16 November 1948 its Yorks took part in the Berlin Airlift. G-AHFI crashed on approach to Gatow on 15 March 1949.
