Powered by a Cheetah radial. At the time of the conversion there was an abundance of Cheetah engines available in the Australia taken from war surplus Airspeed Oxfords and Avro Ansons. The engines were meant to over come heating problems with the standard Lycoming flat six. Only two converted as EP-9C.
