This DC-10 was delivered originally to World Airways in June 1978 and then on to United from May 1986. It was withdrawn from the United fleet in February 2001 and then slated to go to the Royal Netherlands Air Force as 'T-253', however, this fell through and the plane was ferried instead to Pinal Air Park (Marana)(MZJ) and subsequently scrapped.
