This 742 was originally delivered to Japan Airlines in December 1974 and is pictured here from the original terminal viewing deck as the 'new' Haneda is being built in the background. In December 1997 the plane went to Air Atlanta Icelandic and in the following months was leased out, twice to Saudi Arabian and once to Iberia. It returned to Air Atlanta in May 1999 but was retired in September 1999, ferried to the Pinal Air park (Marana) (MZJ) and subsequently scrapped. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
