Haltons were a dozen Halifax C.8 transport aircraft, converted to interim airliners for BOAC. The first was G-AHDU, ex PP310, christened Falkirk at Radlett on 18 July 1946. Later they were operated on the Berlin Airlift by Bond Air Services, transporting mostly fuel oil in their ventral cargo panniers. G-AHDU scrapped at Southend during 1950.
