This 743 was originally delivered to Qantas in May 1987. It was leased by JAL for two years from April 1992 and is pictured taxying out to rw16 for departure. The plane then had two separate lease periods with Garuda before finally rejoining Qantas in February 2007 and then being placed into storage at Marana (MZJ) in December 2008. The plane was rescured ay an Arab aviation handling company and placed with CentrAfrique Air Express as XT-SAG from November 2010. However, it has been stored at Jeddah (JED) since August 2008 and appears not to be in tip-top condition. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
