Build as DC8- 62 for United Airlines in 1969, but returned to Douglas in 1973. In 1981 used as prototype for the longer DC8-72 and after conversion sold as bizzjet to Aramco Aviation where it has flown another 24 years! In 2005 stored Opa Locka and scrapped 2006.
