The huge new terminal at Kish, constructed to this point from 2013 to 2016. An aviobridge was planned to extend from every second of the eight major sections, plus one from each extension left and right. Alas, the 15 km (9 mi) long island did not have a chance yet to become the prime resort that was envisioned and development came to a standstill. The sun shades were of course just there for the airshow.
