This early 747 was originally delivered to Air France in July 1970. It then had lease periods with Air Inter, Nationair and Corsair before joining MEA in June 1993. The plane was only with the airline for one month and so this was a lucky catch as it taxied out for departure back to Beirut (BEY). After returning to Air France, the frame was retired, ferried to Oklahoma City (OKC) and subseqquently scrapped. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
