Built as F-4E (see AirHistory picture 291077 when it flew from Bitburg), this F-4G flew until 24 April 1992 from George AFB before it was retired at AMARC as FP0839. In March 2000 is was moved to Mojave as part of the QF-4G awrial target programme. Delivered to the 82nd ATRS it was shot down as DD250 over the Gulf of Mexico on 19 June 2009.
