Tandem-wing aircraft, derived from the SFCA Taupin and two-seat Taupin 5/2 of which over 50 examples flew in France before the war. The sole Lignel first flew on 21 December 1946 and it is being demonstrated here at the 1955 ILSY airshow in the Netherlands by Louis Clément. On the way home it crashed near Ghent and Clément and a local passenger were killed.
