Photographed during "Exercise Cockfeather", a large-scale Territorial Army exercise held annually in the late Eighties and during the Nineties. Barry Buddon Army Training Camp near Carnoustie was the hub for most of the helicopter activity which generally comprised Chinooks and Pumas from the RAF and Scouts and latterly Gazelles from the TA. This Chinook wore United Nations colours and titles at the time. Scanned from a print. This photo is copyright © Mark McEwan, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
