This Il-18 was originally delivered to the Soviet Government as CCCP-75553 in July 1964. It became DM-STF with Interflug in March 1967, DDR-STF in August 1981 and D-AOAO on German reunification in September 1990. It flew with BerLine from November 1991 until the airline ceased operations in March 1994. It then went to German European, Viola Avia Trans (as RA-75553), European Airlines (LZ-AZO, EL-ADY & T9-ABB) and Phoenix (T9-ABB & EX-405) before joining Anikay Air as EX-405 around March 2005.
