This DC-10 was originally delivered to KLM in February 1975. Over the next number of years it had lease periods with Garuda (PH-DTL), Thai (HS-TGC) and Viasa (PH-DTL) before joining African Safari in December 1992. It is pictured taxying out for departure with another load of ecited holiday makers. In June 1998 it was re-registered 5Y-MBA and in February 2002 it joined africa One as 5X-ONE.
