This MD-83 was delivered to Airtours in September 1981 and is pictured enjoying some down time at Tegel before the flight home. In May 1996 it went to Reno Air as N882RA and transferred over to American in August 1999 and was withdrawn from the fleet in July 2001. The plane then went on to fly with Freebird (TC-FBT), Viking, Air Scandic & Aero Asia (all as SE-RDH), Sky Wings & XL Airways ( SX-BSW) and Khors Aircompany (UR-CDR) before joining Zagros Air in May 2009. The plane was re-registered EP-ZAC in February 2012 and is still active with the company. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
