This Herald was originally delivered to Sadia T.A. as PP-SDG in October 1964. it joined British Midland as G-ASVO in March 1973. It went to Air Anglia on lease in October 1975 and then bought by BAF January 1977. The plane had many subsequent lease periods with many different airlines, finally being damaged beyond repair after taxing into a floodlight stantion at Bournemouth-Hurn (BOH) in April 1997. The forward fulage was saved from the scrappy and was on display at the Highland Air Museum. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
