This was the first Nimrod to receive the 'Operation Granby' Self Defence Suite modifications. Which included a BOZ pod chaff dispenser (as fitted to Tornado), ALE 40 flare dispenser, Loral Missile Approach Warning System (MAWS) and a Marconi Towed Radar Decoy (TRD).
