The second A330 to arrive from Asia at TXL in the space of an hour. With the summer schedule of 2009, Air Berlin began flying a series of long-haul routes from TXL to assorted North American, Caribbean, and southeast Asian destinations. Since the collapse of Air Berlin in 2017, this aircraft has been operated by Virgin Atlantic Airways with the British registration G-VMIK.
