52734 painted to represent 42272. The real 42272 was returned to the USAF at Sculthorpe in 1975 and scrapped in 1976. 52734 went to the Musee de L'Air at Paris Le Bourget after retirement then moved to a campsite at Chatillon-En-Diois in exchange for some DFS230 glider parts by 1987. It then moved to the Musee de L'Aeronautique at Nancy-Essey by 1998 and was painted as 42272. After that museum closed it was moved to Albert in 2004.
