Many humans and statues watch the take-off of the second prototype Storch from central Berlin. The occasion was the Army Day for the Winter Relief, a fundraising event. On the left is the right wing of the Humboldt University building, and on the far right is the Berliner Dom. The cathedral's roof lantern was destroyed by a bomb in 1944 and not rebuilt.
