Originally built as EB-47E 52-410. Operated by USN under contract with Douglas from mid 1960s through the end of 1977. It was assigned USN BuNo. 24100 (previously used by a Grumman TBF-1.) Delivered to Pease AFB on 20 December 1977 and put on display repainted in USAF markings, but it still carried the USN BuNo. 24100 and the large "3" on vertical fin when this slide was taken. When used by the Navy, the a/c was assigned to Fleet Electronic Warfare Support Group (FEWSG) with the squadron code number "3". Photographer Ron McNeil.
