Taxiing on Foxtrot for Rw 05 departure, this was the first 'private charter' flight Adelaide to Ayers Rock. This weekend getaway was promoted by NT Now (Northern Territory tourism) as 'private charters', no airline mentioned although those familiar with aviation in Adelaide knew it was Alliance aircraft that would provide the service. That weekend getaway became so popular that a second one scheduled for June 11 departure was advertised and following that, a third scheduled for July 16 was advertised.
