Afternoon departure - Qantaslink flight 144 to Kingscote departs off Rw 23. Uncommonly in later times, this aircraft commenced its take-off from the threshold of Rw 23 possibly as a result of operational requirements. More commonly, Qantaslink's Dash-8-300s commence their take-offs from the Delta 2 intersection about a quarter of the way along 23.
