First flown on 30 April 1951, then untitled. Appeared at 1951 Paris Air Show. Used for deck landing trials and sent to the Netherlands for flood rescue relief in 1953. To Williamson diamond mine in Tanganyika in 1958 but returned. Used for trials until 1969, titled 'Westland Sycamore' by 1963. Other registrations VR-TBS, G-48-1.
