The first DC-8 for Pan Am and probably making a first visit here with typical Prestwick weather to spoil the shot. In 1969 it was sold to Delta Air Lines who kept it until 1974 when it became N8016 for Charlotte Aircraft. Thereafter it was leased to several different operators until scrapped in January 1988. This photo was added on 27 May 2021, and has since been viewed 1162 times. |
