Picture from collection of Rudy Burgwal, who crossed from occupied Holland to England in a boat on 3 September 1941. The Harvards in his photos show that his advanced flying training in Canada took place with 32 Service Training Flying School at Moose Jaw. He became a Spitfire pilot in No 322 (Dutch) Sqn, and downed some 18 V-1s. He was killed near Orléans on 12 August 1944 on a bomber escort mission.
