Photo taken from a height of 1500 feet during an overhead join for runway 23. Circuit height is 1000 feet and circuits right hand on 23 and left hand on 05. Sandtoft originated in WWII as a base for the training of heavy bomber crew. Todays runway 05/23 was originally a taxyway.
