First flew as CCCP-09309 in 1974. Delivered to the Soviet Air Force in Aeroflot colours. Painted into camouflage colours in 1981 and marked as 309 black. Marking later removed. Transferred to the Russian Air Force in 1992. Marked as RA-09309 by 2005. Repainted into standard An-22 colours and reregistered as RF-09309 in 2017.
