Taken on 1st September, on 4th, the aircraft made a forced landing into the sea on a beach at Whitesands Bay in St Davids, Wales, following an engine problem. The aircraft landed in the shallows to avoid the crowded beach and the nosewheel snapped off when it hit the water, the pilot escaping with minor injuries. The incident was filmed and featured on the BBC TV series SOS Coast Guard Rescue.
