Although not marked as such, this a/c was assigned to the 1st Air Commando Wing at England AFB in Alexandria, LA. at the time the slide was taken. Here it was dropping off a group of Air Force ROTC cadets from Louisiana State University after providing them transport from Baton Rouge, LA. to Wright Patterson AFB, OH. to visit the USAF Museum and then back home.
