Procured by USAAF as 41-13522 as a Curtiss 87-B2 Warhawk (P-40E). Supplied to the RAAF as a Kittyhawk 1A. At time of image it was being restored to South East Asia scheme with that theatre's distinctive roundel without a red centre.
