In pre-WWII Czechoslovakia, the Tatra company obtained a license in 1935 to produce Bücker Bü 131 Jungmann aircraft, which were then given the designation Tatra T-131. After the end of the war, it was decided to continue production and this example was built in 2003 by Historical Aircraft Services Karasiewicz in Poland. The aircraft is painted blue as the original owner was related to the WWI fighter ace Georg von Hantelmann, whose blue Fokker D.VII is pictured on the tail. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
