This Starfighter was one of a batch of built by MBB between 1970 to 1972 as replacements for the losses suffered by the West German AF of the type. This frame was delivered to JaboG 33 in Büchel in September 1971. Its flying career ended in November 1988 although it was used for ground instruction until October 1992.
