Actually VH-DJD which crashed on takeoff from Morana Station, in Queensland, on November 21, 1985 after being hit by a sudden gust of wind. It later turned up at the Qantas base at Melbourne airport where it remains. May have been a project for airframe apprentices but is now parked on a concrete slab tucked up against a maintenance base building. This photo was added on 28 July 2021, and has since been viewed 1424 times. |
