This is the first Meyers OTW built, with a first flight on 10 May 1936. During WW 2 this a/c was used by the US Government as a trainer with the Civilian Pilot Training Program. After the war it was converted to a crop duster. It was bought and restored by Mr. D.L. Denly of Osceola, IA. He installed a 165HP Warner Super Scarab engine. The museum acquired the a/c from Mr. Denly in 1986. This photo is copyright © Bob Thomas, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
