Korean War picture. Earlier that month, UP-27 was photographed on the ground behind enemy lines in Yangyang County, taking out survivors of the ran-aground Thai corvette Prasae. The helicopter was lost on another rescue mission near Kosong on 3 July 1951. The pilot was killed and another crew member taken prisoner.
