This An-2 was originally delivered to the East German AF as '888' and was in service by May 1957. From July 1990 it then flew with the agricultural division of Interflug as DDR-SKL but became D-FONL after re-unification. It is pictured here taxying after landing on rw30 during this wonderful event. It wears this lovely Deutsche Lufthansa scheme as DM-SKL, the forerunner of Interflug, although it never flew with the airline. Note also the longer exhaust. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
