This ex US Navy P-3B LW made its first flight on 3 August 1967. The Maritime Patrol Aircraft was retired to AMARC with inventory code 2P0104 in November 1993 and subsequently selected for Foreign Military Sales to Greece. The Orion departed AMARC in September 1995, was flown over to Raytheon at Greenville (TX) for modifications and assigned to 353 MNAS from May 1996. The LW was placed into storage by late 2009, flown over to Hellenic Aerospace Industries at Tanagra in late 2011 as it was earmarked for modification to P-3HN.
