First visit to Leuchars by a P-8A Poseidon, arriving directly from its home base at Patuxent River, Maryland. The aircraft belongs to Air Test and Evaluation Squadron ONE (VX-1) otherwise known as the "Pioneers", and was one of a number of Maritime Patrol Aircraft to be based at Leuchars for the duration of Joint Warrior 12-2.
