Entered service in 1953 and sent to Abingdon as instructional airframe 8605M in August 1978 then scrapped in March 1984. Hard to believe that at least the forward section was not preserved somewhere - and what is that nose for? This photo was added on 30 September 2021, and has since been viewed 538 times. |
