This is one of four Yak-11s donated by the Soviet union to the fledgling Austrian AF after WWII. It was based at Langenlebam/Tulln between February 1956 and September 1965 and initailly carried the serial 4A-AH. It was initially on display in the museum at Graz but now only the wings are stored in the restoration area of this museum. The fuselage and engine are undergoing restoration elsewhere and the museum hopes to have the finished plane ready for presentation at Airpower 2022. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
