Sweden bought one Bestmann from Germany 1942 and, following successful testing, licence rights for 120 airframes built by Hägglund & Söner in Örnsköldsvik. This one was manufactured in 1945. To D-ELAM in 1954. Registered SE-BMN in 2010 following restoration. The type was designed by Bücker's Swedish chief engineer, Anders Andersson, who later created the Saab Safir too.
