Red Arrows' smoke in the background of this picture of Czechoslovak An-12. This aircraft was later sold to Air Sofia as LZ-SFJ. While leased to Mandala Airlines, it crashed while attempting to land at Pekanbaru-Simpang Tiga Airport in Indonesia on 29 September 1999. The An-12 touched down 1300 meters short of the runway and broke in two. This photo is copyright © Jonathan Verschuuren, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
