Ex USAAF 42-72210 and LV-ABR FAMA. Owned by Transocean from 1948 until 1956. Leased to Airwork March to December 1955 for a transatlantic freight schedule FRA-LHR-MAN-NY Idlewild. Featured in John Wayne Film 'The High and the Mighty' (1954). Reported to have crashed into the Pacific in 1964. All souls lost & wreckage never recovered.
