A Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm (MBB) built Tornado. 45+39 made its first flight on 12 September 1986 and was delivered to the Marineflieger on 5 November 1986. The aircraft served Marinefliegergeschwader 2 from early 1987 onwards. It was transferred to the Luftwaffe late 2004, early 2005 and was assigned to Jagdbombergeschwader 31 (JBG31). Later on, it served with JBG32 and Taktisches Luftwaffengeschwader 33 (TLG) before it was transferred to TLG51 (as pictured).
