Simulating a wheels up landing during its approach to its homebase, this Dutch F-35A pilot received a red flare by ATC. The pilot then overshoot the runway at low level for another landing attempt. Built by the Final Assembly and Check Out (FACO) facility at Cameri in Italy, this F-015 made its first flight on 26 January 2021 and was delivered to 322 squadron at Leeuwarden air base on 17 February 2021.
