Delivered to the USAAF as 43-48667 then to the RAF as KJ897 in 1944. To BEA as G-AMKE in 1951 Sold as VP-YUU in 1962 then to Zambia Airways as 9J-RDR in 1966. Withdrawn from use at Lusaka in 1970 after a ground loop accident. To Phoebus Apollo for parts in 1998. Front fuselage preserved at Rand. The rest of it was scrapped.
