This Fishbed-F last flew with JG-2 at Neubrandenburg AB and was one of the NVA MiG-21s allocated for destruction as part of the arms reduction treaty in Europe. It is now a gate guard at this former East German AF AB (ID 2126) and is one of a few interesting aircraft to be found there. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
