The red Ducati - Ferrari (999) Starfighter pictured during the Starfighter good-bye event. On March 25th, 2004 this F-104 established a new F-104 world record, staying airborne with the help of four fuel tanks for 2h 50 mins without air refueling. Piercarlo Ciacchi was the pilot on this mission and it was also his last flight with the F-104.
